Hi! I’m Jonathan Lamkin, a Project Manager for Allison Smith in the commercial electrical construction industry. I recently graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering. I am currently in the process of achieving my Professional Engineer license in the state of Georgia. This year I had the opportunity of completing my certificate in Negotiation at The Harvard Business School Online.

I have completed a co-op with Syska Hennessy Group, in the field of critical systems design and consulting. Prior to this I have worked as a cashier, lifeguard, swim coach, and as a student assistant at Georgia Tech. My software experience includes MatLab, Quartus, AutoCAD, Revit, EasyPower, SKMPowerTools, Excel, and COMCheck, Accubid. I also know various programming languages with experience in each. These include: Python, C, C++, HTML, VHDL, Visual Basic, and some work with 32-bit MIPS assembly.

In my free time I enjoy playing all sports, as well as anything outdoorsy. I like to go to the gym daily and spend time with my dogs. I enjoy hanging out with my friends at Tech, but I also frequent trips to other states to visit my friends from back home. Thanks for reading!
